Image Poem

My poem is I dream of enlightenment. The sun never sets. What shake up me to write this poem was the influence of the song Paradise by the popular band called Coldplay. The song is about a fille inquisitive for her nirvana and unfortunately, because she doesnt know what actual nirvana it, she never finds it and ends up being stuck in this place we called reality. bit listening to the song, I searched up the lyrics to see the details of it and realized how much it reflected my personal experience with trying to find my paradise. When I think of paradise, the sun never sets, with its beautiful weather and clean air, you have no weight on your shoulders and you just unstuff while soaking up the sun. Another realization I have come across is the fact that the two sentences that curb up my poem is a powerful, universal message. Even though it holds a little amount of sacred scriptures, the message that is in it, is something that everyone in the world can relate to; they can dream of their paradise and just hope that they will find it one day.
The images that I chose for my poem are just ordinary preen humanistic discipline that I found off Google. They were all originally scandalous and white, but I decided to manipulate them in Photoshop and furnish color to add more meaning to it.



For I, I used a picture of an eye to compensate that we were searching for something and I chose the color blue to symbolize the lust to escape. For the invent dream, I used a dream debase to exist the image of dreaming and I chose a barge shade of blue to symbolize that its a fantasy. For the word of, I drew an arrow to represent what I was referring to which was paradise and left it as orange to bold it. For the word paradise, I chose a clip art of palm trees to represent an island-like paradise and chose a purple to red gradient to represent the colors of sun rise.
