Prerequisite
no-hit completion of Financial Management (FINA 2201 or 2209)
Required running Materials and Resources
1)FINA 4410: Valuation and Value Creation (Pearson Custom Business Resources)
2) glide path to Microsoft Excel and Word (for case preparation)
3) Financial Calculator (TI BA II+, TI 83, or similar model solely must be a financial calculator)
Course Overview
The prime objective of this course is to apply the basic financial skills you have learned in FINA 2201 (or 2209) to understand how companies (or parts of companies) are cute and how to make capital allocation and other decisions that lead to semipermanent value maximization for corporations.
The class will emphasize the application program of theory, financial model building and executive-level written communication skills. enormous analysis is not that great if your audience cannot understand what it message or how you reached your conclusions.
Just as in the makeforce, much of the work in this class will be done in teams (four to six students).
