Logan Rushing ENG 122 David Redus April 4 2012 Parking Problems in Fort collins Parking has make one of Fort Collins greatest problems. Parking intimately anywhere opposite than a restaurant and ones home bed have anyone at anytime 60 dollars in debt or notwithstanding towed within minutes. It is outrageous to force citizens to walk from their car to their destination, which could be a 4-mile walk in some cases. Since we are already paying for some of these place places with tax money shouldnt we be able to park there with no sharpen or consiquence? Obviously it is an easy way to make the governance and city of Fort Collins money and they have taken full advantage in doing so. Parking is never free. stock-still when put seems free, we pay for the costs of place maintenance and reliable estate by dint of higher prices, housing costs and rents. on-street position is a valuable city asset that we any pay to provide and maintain through our tax dollars. For these reasons, we oftentimes dont realize we are paying for plain free parking. Moreover, we pay those costs whether we drive or subscribe to our destination some other way. Parking affects the way we take in our city. Areas with too much parking such as blocks and blocks of parking lots can be an eyesore, empty and unsafe.

In other areas, it can seem difficult to find a parking space even when there are plenty of slothful spaces. So if our tax dollars are already paying for these parking lots and rebuilding then why cant we park there in the first place? why charge the people who put money towards the parking through tax money?
