James Lewis kraft (11 Dec,1874 16 Feb,1953) Founder krafts Foods Inc. James Lewis kraft paper (11 December, 1874 16 February, 1953) was a Canadian-the Statesn businessman and inventor. He was born weedy Stevensville, Ontario a Province of Canada located in the east-central unwrap of Canada to parents, George and Minerva Tripp kraft paper.He was the first to patent processed cheese.James Lewis Kraft got his educatuin in Stevensville. At the age of eighteen he start working at Fergusons general store in Fort Erie, Ontario. James Lewis Kraft moved to Buffalo (The second most populus metropolis in the state of New York) where he invested in a cheese company. From Buffalo he shifted to Chicago in 1903, in order to manage the branch of the company. But there his companion quit him from the business.He start his own business with $65 still by purchasing a horse and wagon. He employ to purchase cheese on wholesale everyday and and so selling to the local merchants. In 1909 his four brother linked him and gave the name J.L. Kraft & Bros. Co. to the business and James Lewis Kraft became president. In 1914 J.L. Kraft & Bros. Co. which later became Kraft Foods Inc,  opened its first cheese manufacturing plant in Stockton, Illinois United States.

In 1916 Kraft developed a revolutionary process, for pasteurising cheese so that it would exist for long time and to be shipped long distances. In 1919 the company expanded into Canada. Kraft observed a abundant increase in his business during World War I when the United States government used to provide cheese in tins to their army. James Lewis Kraft served as the companys president from 1909 to 1953.
