Educational and Personal Goals
solely through my adult life I set purposes for myself to effectuate in a measureable time frame. Therefore, I have educational tendencys and personal goals to accomplish in my life. The short term goal is to complete my Bachelor of Science degree in the beside 15 months and the long term goal is in the undermentioned four years afterward I finish my BSN broadcast I will be completing a maintain practitioner program and pass the ARNP boards and produce an Adult family practice session nurse practitioner. On the other hand, the personal goal I want to accomplish is to take a vacation to southeastward Africa with my family after I finish with my educational goals and Im departure to give myself seven years to accomplish this goal for myself and family. Therefore, for the next five years Im going to be higher my education in my nursing line of achievement and prepare for a long overdue vacation after I complete my BSN and MSN Nurse Practitioner programs.
I shortly have an associate of science degree in nursing. This is an debut level tertiary nursing degree from a partnership college.
(Wikipedia, 2010) I been practicing nursing for the past thirteen in a half years with this degree and I dont regret getting the ADN degree because it got me prepared to work with patients at the bedside and with the degree we developed strong assessment skills because during the program we had much hands on clinical experience then anything. However, I want to higher my educational level in nursing. I believe that going back to cultivate to get a BSN it will give me more career opportunities and make me expose prepared to meet the patient needs on a higher level. The BSN degree will give me the opportunity to become a nurse manager while continuing school for my MSN in ARNP.
